We will do all we can to help you move. Our Assisted Selling option provides you with a means to reserve the plot you want whilst you still have a house to sell and saves you the expense of agents’ fees and advertising costs.
Below we have listed some of the frequently asked questions which come up during the sales/purchase process. We hope you find them useful.
If you are still unsure about anything, then please take the time to speak to our dedicated Sales Advisors who will be only too pleased to answer your queries.
What happens if the plot I want isn’t ready yet?
No problem. Our estate agents will market your property, ensuring that all potential purchasers are informed that you cannot move until your new home is ready, or you make the decision to move out and live with family members, or move into rented accommodation. Normally assisted move is only offered on properties that are build complete or close to being build complete .
Will we need to pay expensive estate agents’ fees?
No, with the Westerman Homes Assisted Selling Option estate agents’ fees, VAT and advertising costs will be met by us. If you are already on the market with an agent, we could look at helping you with a time only assisted move, this means that we would not pay for the agents fees.
What happens if our buyer pulls out?
If your buyer pulls out we will simply re-market your home for you and try again. In some instances, we may then look at converting to a part exchange option, but this is not guaranteed.
Can we reserve a new home whilst we sell our own, without using the Assisted Selling Option?
Regrettably, no. We are unable to let you reserve a new home until you have either sold your existing home or take advantage of out Assisted Selling Option. (Please note that our Assisted Selling option is only available on certain developments and plots and is subject to terms and conditions. Please ask our Sales Advisor for full details.)
